Second Wednesday of each month 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with supported poses held for longer periods of time (4 minutes) to target the connective tissues rather than focusing on the muscles. The teaching of Yin Yoga began in the Western world in the late ’70s, and was founded by martial arts expert and Taoist yoga teacher Paulie Zink.
Think of Yin Yoga as supported stretching in stillness.
Deep breathing in each pose is very beneficial.
Savasana with Yoga Nidra on additional supports. Lavender optional.
All props and supports are provided in studio. If joining the class remotely, be sure to find pillows and blocks for support.
