Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with supported poses held for longer periods of time (3-5 minutes) to target the connective tissues rather than focusing on the muscles. The teaching of Yin Yoga began in the Western world in the late ’70s, and was founded by martial arts expert and Taoist yoga teacher Paulie Zink.
